Peter Vekselman (coachingbypeter.com) has been a client of mine since March 2015. He’s an aggressive video syndicator with a monster YouTube channel. When we first began working together he had two goals: grow his average view durations and increase his conversions. Because his coaching product is expensive ($12-20k per year) it was vital to generate highly-qualified leads.

Remember, YouTube SEO is easy if you think about daily monitoring of the metrics and rankings. It’s an easy process once you learn the relevancy algorithms required to get videos ranked in the top 3 positions for high-volume searched keywords.

Regardless of rankings, engagement takes center stage. If you’re not converting viewers into taking action (link to free report, consultation, etc) all of your rankings are irrelevant in my book. It’s the critical conversion factor into a list or prospect that counts.

2022 update…
